The History of Castle Fine Arts, Inc.
Castle Fine Arts, Inc., has been an active fine arts firm for over 40 years, specializing in fine 18th through 20th Century Japanese prints. We opened our doors in 1977 as The Asian Collector Gallery in Hong Kong for fifteen years. Relocating to San Franciso in 1992, Frank Castle established Castle Fine Arts, Inc. in the main gallery of the historic art deco inspired 450 Sutter Street building. We are now entirely an online operation located in Sacramento, California where our inventory has expanded and improved access to clients has become a possibility through the innovation of e-commerce. Castle Fine Arts, Inc. is a member of the Ukiyo-e Dealers Association of Japan; the Connoisseurs` Council of The Asian Art Museum, and the Achenbach Graphic Arts Council, both in San Francisco. Since 1999, Castle Fine Arts, Inc. has been represented on the well-known television show, The Antiques Roadshow on PBS.
With private, corporate, and museum clients on five continents, Castle Fine Arts, Inc. has built a reputation as a firm that offers knowledgeable and trustworthy service. We also provide appraisal services for estate and insurance purposes. Office art projects are also a specialty, with courtesy extended to the trade.
