Notes: An over-sized Keith design. Pencil signed, titled and numbered "50" by the artist. As stated in Miles, "Part of an intended series of Noh and Kyogen actors that includes No. 107 and 108. Study of two actors costumed for a Noh drama. Each of the series was intended to be an edition of 50, but no example numbered higher then 31 has been found." - Miles pg 61.
Provenance: Acquired directly from the artist; from one of her exhibitions during the height of her career. This special collection of Elizabeth Keith prints were all carefully stored; never framed or displayed. Passed down from a descendant of the family member who first purchased the collection from the Keith Exhibition.
